MULTIGRAIN BHEL

Ingredients

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1 cup lotus seeds (makhana)
½ cup cornflakes
¾ cup roasted whole red lentils (sabut masoor dal)
½ cup roasted soya beans
¼ cup puffed rice
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
¼ cup fresh pomegranate pearls
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
½ tablespoon lemon juice

Method

1. Dry-roast pumpkin seeds in a non-stick pan till crisp. Transfer in a bowl.
2. Dry-roast makhana in the same non-stick pan till light golden brown and crisp. Transfer in the same bowl.
3. Add cornflakes, whole red lentils, soya bean, puffed rice, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, pomegranate pearls, chaat masala, salt and lemon juice to roasted pumpkin seeds-makhana mixture and mix well.
4. Serve immediately.
